From first sketch to final build.
We bring together architecture, licensing and construction
to make the process clear, coordinated and enjoyable.
OUR MISSION
We believe good architecture extends beyond the boundaries of a building. It influences how people meet, live, work and experience their surroundings.
Every project begins by understanding its context—its landscape, climate, regulations and the people who will inhabit it. We believe the best architecture feels inevitable: quiet, timeless and deeply connected to its surroundings.
We draw inspiration from experiences across Portugal and Northern Europe, but every project is ultimately shaped by the Algarve itself—its landscape, climate, culture and way of living.
Internationally informed, locally rooted.
OUR TEAM
Ruben Martins Soares
Ruben graduated from ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, and began his professional career in Lisbon, working on housing and rehabilitation projects.
He collaborated with established architecture studios, including work developed with Souto Moura Arquitectos, gaining experience in design development and site coordination. He later worked as a coordinating architect within a construction company, strengthening his understanding of the building process and on-site execution.
This combined experience — from design to construction — informs his approach at CASO, ensuring continuity between concept and built work.
